quick intro

If you haven't caught on, I'm the "A" in AVizuals! I'm 22 years old and grew up in Denham Springs, Louisiana - not too far from Baton Rouge. I'm currently a senior at Louisiana State University (geaux tigers), and love having the opportunity to be creative. My goal is to create images you’ll love and hold onto. I’m honored every time someone invites me into their story to celebrate with them—whether it’s a milestone, capturing a love story, or just freezing a moment in time.

The basics

I love art & creativity so much that it's my major! I'm pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design at LSU. It's hard to file down my work to one style as I'm constantly exploring and seeking to use my creativity and skills to fit ANYONE'S vision.

The beginning

How did I get into this? Since I was a kid, I was always into art: painting, drawing, decorating the light switches without my parents' permission. You name it.  But once I reached high school and the question of career path came up, I was clueless. But senior year, I took the "media arts" elective and it reminded me of the childhood love I had for art while introducing a new, digital form-pointing me into the direction of studying graphic design at LSU. In my education, I dabbled into photography after taking a beginner course at LSU and fell in love once again. One of my first experiences of using my camera outside of the classroom was taking photos at a big worship night on LSU's campus, sobbing at all the voices singing together and barely able to see what I was even taking photos of. When I looked back at the photos, I realized how photography can serve as a testament to God’s love and faithfulness. Now, I want to take photos 24/7.
